A Great Many Things

I went vegan for health reasons, not by choice, per se.  It was a last ditch effort for GI issues: turns out I have food allergies, and that going vegan was one of the best things that would ever happen to me, for both health reasons and simply the joy of  eating that I discovered in the process.

That said, this was one of the first recipes that I looked up.  I was afraid that I would have to give up desserts as I knew them, and my mother was equally terrified for me.  I am a chocoholic: I know it, and I freely admit it.  And how do you make cake without eggs and butter?  This southern girl had no idea…
